Ramona, CA – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying two thieves responsible for a home invasion that resulted in the theft of nearly $15,000 worth of jewelry and collectible coins. The incident occurred at Hatfield Creek Vineyards and Winery on state Route 78, around 4 p.m. on February 23, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
On the same day as the break-in, suspicious individuals were spotted at two other nearby wineries, although no thefts were reported at those locations.
“In response to the incident, our deputies are conducting additional patrols at wineries in the Ramona area to ensure the safety of the community,” said sheriff’s Sgt. Daniel Sloppye.
Authorities are urging anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to reach out.
