San Diego Fire-Rescue crews are currently on the scene of an electrical fire reported at the Trolley Court Residential Hotel located at 940 Park Blvd in East Village. Firefighters responded to the initial call shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities have confirmed that the building has been fully evacuated, the residents are safe, and the fire crews work diligently to contain the blaze. In addition to local firefighters, crews from National City and Coronado have been dispatched to assist with the incident.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area surrounding Park Boulevard and Broadway to facilitate emergency operations and ensure public safety.
