
San Diego FC (SDFC) has revealed the launch of its official Pub Partnership Program, presented by DIRECTV, aimed at pumping up the fan experience as the club gears up for its inaugural 2025 Major League Soccer season.
This new initiative is built around the idea of creating a community of local fans by teaming up with some of San Diego’s vibrant bars and restaurants to showcase SDFC matches throughout the season. By teaming up with DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS, these venues will be able to broadcast all SDFC home and away games, available on channels 9575-9590. Josh Stern, Associate Vice President of Brand Investment at DIRECTV, said:

The Pub Partnership Program will establish a network of official SDFC destinations where fans can gather for Watch Parties. By focusing on a fun, community-driven atmosphere, these events will feature special activations, trivia, and a range of fan-focused activities. Participating bars will receive promotional materials such as branded bar mats, bottle openers, and more, enhancing the overall experience for fans.
At the moment, bars like Mavericks, Mr. Tempo, and McGregor’s have signed on to the program, with more venues looking to join in the coming weeks.
