
San Diego has been identified as one of the most expensive cities in the United States for renting a one-bedroom apartment, according to a recent report. The study highlights the city’s high rental costs, placing it among the top-tier markets nationwide.
In the greater San Diego metropolitan area, the median rent for all bedroom types is just over $3,000, significantly higher than the national median. According to a rent report from Zumper, San Diego comes in at number 10 on the list of the most expensive cities to rent a one-bedroom apartment, just behind New Haven, CT, and Arlington, VA.
On the other end of the spectrum, Durham, North Carolina saw a 12.8% price drop in one bedroom apartments with prices settling around $1,290.
